Dehydration is a very common condition that happens to majority of us in summers. As summers are approaching closer, people have started getting affected by it very fast.   1. Coconut Water

Coconut water is the world’s only known highest endospermic fruit. This means that this has a lot of nutrients present in it, like sodium and potassium. These nutrients therefore help you regain all the energy that you have lost in getting dehydrated.
Serving: 4-5 per day.


2.Homemade ORS
There are a lot of ORS brands available in the market, but if you can’t go outside and buy any, then here we have a recipe for you. All you need is ½ tsp sugar, ⅓ tsp table salt and 200 ml boiled water. Mix all the ingredients together, let the solution cool. Then drink the ORS 1 time every day.


3.Mosami (Citrus limetta) Juice

Drinking Mosami (Citrus limetta) juice early in the morning will help you recover very fast. Just one glass (100ml) makes up to 17mg of Sodium, and 78mg of Potassium.


4.Sugarcane Juice

Highly rich in antioxidants and a good blood purifier, just one serving of sugarcane juice per day can help you treat urinary tract infections, kidney stones and ensure faster recovery from dehydration.



Drinking One glass of lemonade a day can help you get your energy levels back on track. It makes up a good antioxidant drink and is one of the fastest working enzymes that would help you overcome dehydration by restoring the levels of potassium, sodium, and magnesium in your body.



Yogurt is one of the best cures for dehydration. Take a bowl of yogurt – 50 grams – and add a pinch of salt in it. Stir it well and serve it with your lunch. Refrain from taking yogurt with your dinner.


7.Tulsi, Amla, Pudina and Neem leaves

You can add these leaves in any of your food items once they are prepared just garnish them with these leaves and make sure you consume these as well.
