Hydrotherapy baths often makes body feel relaxed and drowsy. This happens due to the body’s reaction to the temperature of the water and the duration of the bath; mostly preferred to patients with empty stomachs. Various types of baths are prescribed by the doctors per the requirements. Some of these are Hip bath, Spinal Bath, Immersion Bath, Steam Bath, Foot and Arm Bath, etc. Not only it helps in improving of balance and co-ordination, it also helps in restore of paralyzed muscles. Depending on the requirement, the doctor may advise to add certain herbs as well to the bath to enhance the benefit of the treatment and result.
